我內心的小女孩: Bringing back the "Little Girl" in me (Hong Kong Tour Day 2 1.2)
One of the reasons why I’ve always wanted to travel in Hong Kong is DISNEYLAND! Seriously, who doesn’t want to experience the magic of childhood?
Before that, we went to the Avenue of the Stars, we went to Jumbo Floating Restaurant. We’ve seen the past and the present Hong Kong. We’ve seen the contrast between the rich and the poor in that area. And there we had a great appreciation of Hong Kong’s past.

I wore the hat to match the old Hong Kong feel that time.
After which, we went straight to a store where you can buy all of HK’s specialties. It may be a food, snack, clothes, etc. We also had a taste of the original HOPIA. Yes my dear friends, the legit HOPIA. Too bad we weren’t allowed to take photos there. After lunchtime, we went ahead to viola! DISNEYLAND

Feels like I’m a 5 year old kiddo again upon entering the gates of HK Disneyland.
I’ve never been so ecstatic as this in my 22 years of existence! I can’t help but be in awe with all the sights and rides. Upon entering the world of magic, we were welcomed with the Streets of Old USA.

Welcome to the Main Street USA of Hong Kong Disneyland where you can have a glimpse of the 1930s USA.

Tourists from various places walking around the Main Street of HK Disneyland and the Sleeping Beauty Castle in the center of the resort.
I always consider myself as an old soul. I love almost everything that’s antique but of great artistic impact. And so, I am astounded with the ‘houses’ and ‘establishments’ that I have to take a selfie. hahaha

Enjoy your stay in my crib. Ooops! hahaha
Ate Chesca (my travel buddy) and I agreed that we should check out first the Adventure Land and have a ride on their Grizzly Mining themed roller coaster. Before that, we had a look on the place of Tarzan.

Ni Hao Adventureland! Good to see you! I had fun :-D

Tarzan was ready to pose than I did in this photo.
I remember while we’re falling in line for Tarzan’s house, there was this old lady who was trying to barge in just to be the first in line. Everyone was so irritated since it was very hot then. It’s as if Tarzan’s house would disappear. I hated those who cannot understand what it is to fall in line properly. Since I hated her, I wanted to do something to annoy her to the extreme. What I did was I blocked her way every time she attempted to ‘overtake’ us and pretend like I didn’t mean to.
Next stop was the BIG MOUNTAIN RAILROAD. Our first extreme ride at Disneyland. It was incredible heart stopping ride but that was just our first. Great grizzly bears who explodes the mining place in order to give us riders that experience was surely a hit.
Here’s a video of what Big Mountain Railroad looks like. Credits to the owner of the video.
Our next stop was the Toy Story Land. Supposedly, the plan was to take the Parachute Drop, the the Race Car Coaster thing and the Space Mountain. But we couldn’t help but stop by first in front of the Mystique Manor.

It’s lovely isn’t it? But we hurried ourselves up for us not to waste time (except for falling in line) to our next stop the Parachute DROP! I haven’t had any photos since I was enjoying myself that much and I was savoring the moment. Anyway, I told you a while ago we were supposed to have a ride on the Race Car coaster. However, Ate Chesca was not for it because it might made her dizzy and nauseous that she might not have enjoyed our last stop, the SPACE MOUNTAIN.
Instead of the Race Car, we headed to the Disney 3D show

This cool 3D effects brings me to the world of every Disney movie. Donald Duck certainly didn’t fail to entertain us.
And so we’re down to our last stop before fireworks display. However the space mountain will be ready in an hour. In order for us not to waste our precious time in DIsneyland, we went to help buzz in his war against the evil emperor ZURG!

“Galactic duties completed Sir!”
Then the moment of truth awaits for us. We screamed our lungs out in the Space Mountain and felt good with the dizziness of the ride. It was the best ride ever (so far) in my life. Though I closed my eyes in certain parts and I had to catch my breath, it was all worth it!
It was 7 in the evening and we had 2 hours to wait before the fireworks show start. What we did was, we bought cold turkey sandwiches for our dinner ans shared a bottle of coke (because everything there was expensive). Just took some few good photos in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle and we’re all set for the fireworks by 8pm and everyone else also had their posts to have a good sight of the show.

Castle Photo with Ate Chesca. Yeah! We’re the girls in Pink!

The night view of the Sleeping Beauty Castle. How I wish I’d have a castle too.
And finally, at 9 in the evening, the Disney Fireworks Display Started and It was a BLAST of colors and a chorus of people’s hurrah of astonishment and awe surrounds the place. Even I myself cannot help but be amazed with the show.
Though we didn’t had the chance to try all the rides and shows and though we failed to watch the parade of the stars, everything was worth it. It was a tiring day for us and we had to rush our way to the exit after the show because our bus has a curfew and we had to reach the train station going to Shenzen.
To sum it up, the Disney experience was the best. The half day spent at Disneyland made me feel like I was a little girl again having fun with rides and games without worrying about anything. Disney has a big part in my childhood life and it’s always good to go back to those good old days and feel young and free.
That concludes our Day 2 of our Hong Kong Tour.

Oh by the way, did I mention that I found the love of my life at Disneyland? You have to guess on which of these two good-looking men is my Hong Kong Love.
HAHAHA. Just joking. They’re just photo bombing. Good thing they are both handsome. HAHAHAHA
